Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently prioritized the creation of employment opportunities and the empowerment of the nation's youth. He recognizes India’s demographic dividend as one of its greatest strengths. The Government of India is committed to harnessing the potential of the country’s youth to achieve the goal of a "Viksit Bharat" (Developed India).
The first 100 days of the current government’s third term have been marked by several significant initiatives and decisions that have positively impacted people's lives, laying a strong foundation for a Viksit Bharat by 2047. These citizen-centric measures reflect the Prime Minister's vision of improving the ease of living, particularly for the poor, middle class, Dalits, marginalized communities, tribals, women (Nari Shakti), and youth (Yuva Shakti).
The first 100 days, more than 15,000 young individuals received appointment letters for government jobs from various central ministries and departments. These appointments spanned a wide range of ranks, positions, and groups, including:
The newly appointed employees will also have the opportunity to undergo training through the "Karmayogi Prarambh" e-learning module, available on the iGOT Karmayogi portal. This portal hosts over 1,200 high-quality e-learning courses, which can be accessed from anywhere and on any device. To date, more than 4.3 million employees have been onboarded to this portal, which was launched in September 2020 to promote citizen-centric governance.
