A farmer in the Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh is planting Washingtonia using organic methods and earning a good profit. Ashok Lodhi, a resident of Oliena village, is preparing these plants by adopting organic methods in his approximately 5-acre field. When these plants grow to a height of 6 to 10 feet, he sells them. Ashok Lodhi, the farmer, mentions that this method has several advantages compared to other crops.

According to a report, Ashok Lodhi has been cultivating Washingtonia for the past ten years. He states that by utilizing organic methods in his 5-acre field, he prepares Washingtonia plants and has sold them several times. He mentions that he has benefited significantly from this cultivation.

Ashok Lodhi says that once the plants are ready, he sells them to nursery owners. Washingtonia plants can grow to heights ranging from 6 to 10 feet in about five years. After two years, he starts selling them, earning between 2,000 to 5,000 rupees for each plant. This allows him to earn a profit of 1.5 to 2 million rupees over five years.
