Agricultural Equipment Subsidy Scheme: Apply for These 8 Farm Machines by This Date, Selection via Lottery

To modernize farming and provide farmers with advanced agricultural equipment, the government is running the Agricultural Equipment Subsidy Scheme. this scheme, farmers receive subsidized agricultural machinery to enhance productivity. Recently, the state's Agricultural Engineering Department invited applications for equipment subsidies, but due to an insufficient number of applications, the deadline has now been extended to allow more farmers to benefit from the scheme.

New Application Deadline:

Initially, the last date to apply for 8 agricultural machines, including the power sprayer, was March 26, 2025, with a lottery scheduled for March 28, 2025. However, the new deadline is now April 8, 2025, and the lottery will be held on April 9, 2025. Selected farmers will receive agricultural machinery at subsidized rates.

Which Agricultural Machines Are Eligible for Subsidy?

The Madhya Pradesh Agricultural Engineering Department is offering subsidies for tractor-operated and power-operated agricultural machines. The eligible equipment includes:

1. Power Sprayer/Boom Sprayer
2. Subsoiler Agricultural Equipment
3. Stone Pecker Agricultural Machine
4. Raised Bed Planter with Inclined Plate Planter and Shaper
5. Laser Land Leveler Agricultural Machine
6. Fertilizer Broadcaster
7. Pulverizer (up to 3 HP)

How Much Subsidy Will Farmers Get?

The state government is providing 40% to 50% subsidy, depending on the farmer's category. Farmers can use the subsidy calculator available on the E-Krishi Yantra Anudan Portal to check the exact subsidy amount applicable for their chosen equipment.

1. Aadhaar Card
2. Registered Mobile Number (for OTP verification and notifications)
3. Bank Account Details (copy of the first page of the passbook)
4. Demand Draft (DD) for the Required Security Deposit
5. Land Ownership Documents (Khatauni, Khasra, B1 copy)
6. Tractor Registration Card (RC) (for tractor-operated equipment)

How to Apply for Subsidized Agricultural Equipment? Farmers who wish to avail themselves of the subsidized agricultural machinery must submit their applications online via the E-Krishi Yantra Anudan Portal by April 8, 2025. Already registered farmers can log in using Aadhaar OTP. New farmers must visit MP Online or a CSC Center for biometric Aadhaar authentication to complete their registration.
