The Agriculture Department has extended the last date for applying for Mini Dal Mill and Millet Mill subsidies until February 21, 2025. Farmers who have not yet applied can now submit their applications within the extended deadline.
A lottery process will be conducted on February 22, 2025, based on the applications received. Selected farmers in this process will be given priority for the distribution of agricultural machinery. To avail of any government scheme, applicants must meet specific eligibility conditions. Under the Mini Dal Mill and Millet Mill scheme, it is mandatory for farmers to submit a Demand Draft (DD) along with their application. This DD must be issued from the farmer's own bank account.
The demand draft should be made in the name of the assistant agricultural engineer of the respective district. Applications without the required deposit amount will not be accepted. Therefore, all interested farmers should ensure they follow the correct procedure carefully.
