Opportunity Still Open for Agricultural Machinery Subsidy! Application Deadline Extended, Major Update in DD

The Agriculture Department has extended the last date for applying for Mini Dal Mill and Millet Mill subsidies until February 21, 2025. This decision aims to provide more opportunities to farmers and ensure that the maximum number of beneficiaries can avail of this scheme. Farmers who have not yet applied can now submit their applications within the extended deadline.

A lottery process will be conducted on February 22, 2025, based on the applications received. Selected farmers in this process will be given priority for the distribution of agricultural machinery. This scheme presents an excellent opportunity for farmers to integrate modern technology into their practices and increase their income.

Mandatory Conditions for Application:

To avail of any government scheme, applicants must meet specific eligibility conditions. Under the Mini Dal Mill and Millet Mill scheme, it is mandatory for farmers to submit a Demand Draft (DD) along with their application. This DD must be issued from the farmer's own bank account.

The demand draft should be made in the name of the assistant agricultural engineer of the respective district. Applications without the required deposit amount will not be accepted. Therefore, all interested farmers should ensure they follow the correct procedure carefully.

Deposit Amount & Payment Process:

The security deposit required for agricultural machinery under this scheme is as follows:

1. Mini Dal Mill: ₹2000/- (Revised) Demand Draft (DD)
2. Millet Mill: ₹2000/- (Revised) Demand Draft (DD)

Farmers must ensure they prepare the correct Demand Draft and attach it to their application. Applications without the security deposit will be rejected.

4. Farmers can also apply through nearby MP Online or CSC Centers.
