Additionally, there is good news for the farmers in Punjab. The Punjab government has announced relief for the state's farmers. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has declared that on Baisakhi, farmers will receive compensation at the rate of INR 15,000 per acre.

The CM Will Personally Distribute Checks: The Punjab state government has made a significant announcement for farmers. The government has assured farmers not to worry about compensation. The amount will soon be credited to the farmers' accounts. Farmers affected by unseasonal rains will receive compensation at the rate of INR 15,000 per acre on Baisakhi. The compensation amount will reach the farmers' accounts by April 14. Chief Minister Mann mentioned that farmers have suffered significantly due to unseasonal rainfall, and he will personally hand over checks to the farmers.

Finance Minister to Receive Samples of Damaged Crops: In addition to providing compensation to farmers, the state government has made another important decision in the interest of farmers. Due to rains and hailstorms, crops worth lakhs have been destroyed. In this regard, the state government will send samples of the damaged crops to the central government. CM Bhagwant Mann has announced that samples of the damaged crops will be sent to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. MP Chadda has assessed the condition of crops in the state's villages, and as a result, he has sent several samples to the Finance Minister.
