The Bihar government has launched the Alan Management Scheme (2024-25) to promote agriculture and improve the income of farmers.   • Maximum: 16 units (2000 square meters).
  • Cost of Alam management materials (bamboo, iron wire, plastic string, jute string): ₹4500 per 125 square meters.

3. Subsidy and Payment Process:

  • 80% subsidy will be provided on the cost of the scheme.
  • The subsidy amount will be transferred as cash through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
  • Farmers will have to purchase the materials themselves.
  • The subsidy will be provided on the difference between actual expenditure and the prescribed cost.

4. Deadline The farmer must complete the Alam management work within 15 days of the issuance of the work order.

Required Documents for Application:

1. Land Ownership Certificate:

  • Land ownership certificate.
  • Updated revenue receipt from the last two years.
  • Online updated receipt.
  • Genealogy certificate.
  • Agreement (in the prescribed format). If the applicant's name is not clearly mentioned in the land ownership certificate, the genealogy certificate will be mandatory.

2. Non-Tenant Farmers Non-tenant farmers can avail of the scheme based on an agreement (in the prescribed format). The format can be downloaded from the relevant link.

3. Bank Account Details Before applying, ensure that the bank account is registered for DBT.

Selection and Reservation of Beneficiaries:

  • General Category: 78.56%
  • Scheduled Castes: 20%
  • Scheduled Tribes: 1.44%
  • 30% female participation is mandatory across all categories.
