Delhi Rain: Arrival of monsoon in Delhi, heavy rain expected to start tomorrow, know the weather for the next few days
Delhi Weather Update

As monsoon rains continue to drench various parts of the country, Delhi is gearing up for another spell of showers following yesterday’s downpour on Raksha Bandhan. Here's the latest weather update for the capital.

Delhi Weather Update, More Rain on the Horizon:

After a significant downpour in Delhi on Tuesday, August 20th, light rain is expected in several parts of the city today, August 21st. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that while the sky will remain cloudy today, heavy rainfall is unlikely. However, there is a chance of light drizzle in some areas. The IMD predicts that a new spell of heavy rain could begin in Delhi from August 23rd and continue until August 26th.

Regarding temperature, a slight increase of around one degree is expected today, with the minimum and maximum temperatures hovering around 25°C and 35°C, respectively. It's worth noting that Delhi has already met its monthly rainfall quota, so any additional rainfall will be considered a bonus.

Heavy Rainfall Warnings for Other Regions:

The IMD has issued a heavy rainfall warning for Assam, Meghalaya, Konkan, and Goa, with these areas expected to receive very heavy rain again on August 24th. Additionally, continuous heavy rainfall is likely in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from August 21st to 24th.

Residents in the affected areas are advised to stay informed and take necessary precautions as the monsoon continues to bring varying weather patterns across the country.
