As of today, September 15, according to the Wholesale Price Index, the price of high quality Apple ranged from a maximum of 12000 rupees per quintal to a minimum of 2500 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 9000 rupees per quintal. The price of Kullu Royal Delicious apples in the medium category was at a maximum of 9000 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 3500 rupees per quintal, while the average price for Kullu Royal Delicious apples stood at 6250 rupees per quintal. For Delicious apples, the price in the medium category reached a maximum of 7800 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 7500 rupees per quintal. The average price for local apples was 7670 rupees per quintal.
