Average prices of major varieties of Apple in prominent markets on 18th September

As of today, September 18, according to the Wholesale Price Index, the price of Kashmir Shimla-II apples ranged from a maximum of 7250 rupees per quintal to a minimum of 4050 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 7220 rupees per quintal. The price of Kullu Royal Delicious apples in the medium category was at a maximum of 13000 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 3000 rupees per quintal, while the average price for Kullu Royal Delicious apples stood at 6500 rupees per quintal. For High quality apples, the price in the medium category reached a maximum of 9000 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 4000 rupees per quintal. The average price for local apples was 6000 rupees per quintal.
