Average prices of major varieties of Apple in prominent markets on 19th August

As of today, August 19, according to the Wholesale Price Index, the price of Kashmir Shimla-II apples ranged from a maximum of 4100 rupees per quintal to a minimum of 4000 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 4050 rupees per quintal. The price of Kullu Royal Delicious apples in the medium category was at a maximum of 10,000 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 4000 rupees per quintal, while the average price for Kullu Royal Delicious apples stood at 7000 rupees per quintal. For local apples, the price in the medium category reached a maximum of 11,000 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 5000 rupees per quintal. The average price for local apples was 8000 rupees per quintal.
