Average prices of major varieties of Banana in prominent markets on 21st October

As of today, October 21, according to the Wholesale Price Index, the price of Red bananas in major markets ranged from a maximum of 4900 rupees per quintal to a minimum of 4700 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 4800 rupees per quintal.

The price of Robusta bananas in medium markets reached a maximum of 3500 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 3300 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 3400 rupees per quintal.

The price of Banana Ripe in medium markets was at a maximum of 2000 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 1200 rupees per quintal, with a modal average price of 1900 rupees per quintal.

The price of Nendra Bale Banana in medium markets was at a maximum of 6400 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 2900 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 6300 rupees per quintal.
