Average prices of major varieties of Maize in prominent markets on 28th August

For Desi White Maize, the average maximum price in medium markets was 2300 rupees per quintal, and the minimum price was 2250 rupees per quintal, while the average price stood at 2280 rupees per quintal.
For Desi Lal Maize, the average maximum price in medium markets was 2250 rupees per quintal, and the minimum price was 2200 rupees per quintal, while the average price stood at 2200 rupees per quintal.
As for Hybrid Maize, the average maximum price in medium markets was 2010 rupees per quintal, and the minimum was 1700 rupees per quintal, resulting in an average modal price of 1995 rupees per quintal.
The price of Yellow Maize, on average, had a maximum of 1860 rupees per quintal in medium markets and a minimum of 1760 rupees per quintal, with an average modal price of 1800 rupees per quintal.
