Average prices of major varieties of Rice in prominent markets on 22th August

Today, on the date of August 22nd, as per the Wholesale Price Index, the price of paddy was maximum at 2500 rupees per quintal in major markets, minimum at 2400 rupees per quintal, and the average price was 2450 rupees per quintal. MTU-1010, the average price of rice, was maximum at 2203 rupees per quintal and minimum at 2203 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 2203 rupees per quintal. The average price of Swarna Masoori rice was maximum at 2080 rupees per quintal and minimum at 2000 rupees per quintal in major markets. The modal average price of Swarna Masoori rice was 2040 rupees per quintal. For BPT rice, the average price was maximum at 2800 rupees per quintal, minimum at 2500 rupees per quintal, and the average price stood at 2800 rupees per quintal.
