Average prices of major varieties of wheat in prominent markets on 18th August

On today's date, August 18, according to the Wholesale Price Index, the price of local wheat variety in major Mandis, the maximum rate was 2800 rupees per quintal, the minimum 2000 rupees per quintal, and the average price was 2400 rupees per quintal. 

For Lokwan wheat, the average maximum price in medium markets was 2505 rupees per quintal, and the minimum price was 2150 rupees per quintal, while the average price stood at 2440 rupees per quintal. In the case of Lokwan wheat from Gujarat, the average maximum price in medium markets was 2550 rupees per quintal, and the minimum was 2305 rupees per quintal, resulting in an average modal price of 2425 rupees per quintal.

As for Dara wheat, the average maximum price in medium markets was 2400 rupees per quintal, the minimum was 2000 rupees per quintal, and the average price was 2300 rupees per quintal.
