The Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) has launched a pilot project under its ‘Award to Reward’ initiative, aimed at empowering women-led MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises). This initiative is specifically designed to support women entrepreneurs in the beauty and wellness sector, helping them grow and strengthen their businesses.
Through this initiative, Urban Company, in collaboration with key partners, will identify women working in micro-units and provide them with the necessary support to enhance their businesses. As part of the program, 25 women entrepreneurs will be selected from the Delhi-NCR region based on a well-defined selection process. These entrepreneurs will receive comprehensive training and support to take their salon and beauty parlor businesses to new heights. The goal is to strengthen India’s women entrepreneurship ecosystem and foster women-led development.
