The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the dates for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams for 2025. The exams are scheduled to commence on February 15, 2025. During the announcement of the 2024 exam results, CBSE stated that the timetable for the 2025 board exams has been designed based on the subject combinations chosen by students. The schedule ensures sufficient gaps between the exams of commonly chosen subjects.

Student-Friendly Timetable for Better Preparation:

According to the Controller of Examinations, the exam dates have been planned keeping the entrance exam schedules in mind, allowing board exams to conclude beforehand. This arrangement will enable students to manage their time effectively for both board and entrance exams. Additionally, the evaluation process is structured to ensure that teachers are not away from schools for extended periods. This year, over 40,000 subject combinations were considered while preparing the exam schedule to ensure that no student has to take two subject exams on the same day.

Exams to Begin at 10:30 AM:

The board exams will start at 10:30 AM. For the first time, the timetable has been released well in advance, made possible by schools submitting the List of Candidates (LOC) on time. Early access to the timetable allows students to plan their preparation more efficiently and reduce exam-related anxiety, leading to better performance.

Teachers will not need to stay away from schools for extended periods during the evaluation process, ensuring that other classes are not affected. Families and teachers can also plan vacations during the summer holidays while keeping the exam and evaluation schedule in mind. Sufficient gaps between the exams of commonly chosen subjects will help students prepare for their next exams effectively.

Download the Timetable from CBSE Website: The Controller of Examinations mentioned that schools and exam centers would have ample time to organize their activities. The timetable is available for download on CBSE’s official website, (https://www.cbse.gov.in/) Students and schools are advised to access the timetable from the official website for accurate information.
