Punjab and Haryana are set to experience severe cold wave conditions on January 20th, with cold wave conditions persisting on the 21st and 22nd. Himachal Pradesh and north Madhya Pradesh are also poised for cold wave conditions on the 20th, while West Rajasthan expects the same during January 20th-21st. East Rajasthan is forecasted to encounter cold wave conditions on January 20th and 21st, 2024.
Minimum temperatures across the affected regions range between 2-10°C, with isolated areas experiencing temperatures 2-4°C below normal. Bikaner in West Rajasthan and Kanpur in East Uttar Pradesh reported the lowest minimum temperatures at 2.4°C yesterday, highlighting the severity of the ongoing cold wave.
