Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the inspirational call for indigenous start-ups, Make-in-India, and Vocal-for-Local has ushered in a new era of entrepreneurship in the country. Today, India has surpassed the UK to become the fifth-largest economy in the world. While addressing the indigenous fair in Balaghat, the Chief Minister presented offer letters and disability certificates to youths and engaged with them.
Dr. Yadav described the fair as not just an event but a "Mini India" in the form of an indigenous fair, offering a platform to experience the folk arts and craftsmanship of various states. He also mentioned that India was once known as the "Golden Bird," a leading global economy where industries, spices, silk, and muslin fabrics were renowned worldwide. Today, there are over 37,000 active indigenous start-ups in India, with the youth moving toward entrepreneurship and becoming job creators.

The Chief Minister further highlighted that the concept of the Regional Industry Conclave, supported by Prime Minister Modi, has encouraged proposals for the establishment of renewable energy parks and other industries. So far, the conclave has received investment proposals worth over ₹2.5 lakh crore, with an expected creation of around 2 lakh jobs. He also emphasized the state's readiness to make policies more industry-friendly to promote entrepreneurship at all levels.
12 New Medical Colleges and 13 Ayurvedic Colleges to Be Established: Dr. Yadav announced that in 2003-04, the state had only 5 medical colleges, which have now increased to 17. Additionally, 13 private medical colleges have been established in the state. In the coming year, 12 new government medical colleges and 13 new Ayurvedic colleges will be opened, one of which will be in Balaghat. Due to the government's efforts, the state's budget has grown from ₹3.25 lakh crore to ₹3.5 lakh crore, with a goal to increase it to ₹7 lakh crore. This will contribute significantly to Prime Minister Modi's goal of a $5 trillion economy by 2027.
