CSC SPV has decided to convert 10,000 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) into Common Service Centers (CSCs). This initiative aims to connect farmers across the country, providing them with digital access to fertilizers, seeds, agricultural equipment, and various government schemes. Farmers will benefit from at least 30 types of online services through this program. The goal is to establish and promote 10,000 FPOs under this scheme, enabling CSC SPV to provide them with digital services.

Increasing Employment Opportunities in Rural Areas:

In 2020, the central government launched a scheme to form 10,000 FPOs. This scheme plays a crucial role in reducing farmers' production costs, enabling them to sell their agricultural products at fair prices, and increasing their income. Through this CSC initiative, efforts are being made to improve the lives of citizens in rural areas. The initiative will not only provide CSC services but also increase employment opportunities in these regions.

Farmers to Benefit from CSC Services:

Sanjay Rakesh, MD and CEO of CSC SPV, stated that 10,000 FPOs will now function as Common Service Centers. This initiative will allow more farmers associated with FPOs to benefit from CSC services. Farmers will have access to teleconsultation, crop insurance, e-veterinary services, Kisan Credit Card, PM Kisan, and other related services. This will significantly enhance agricultural services provided by CSCs and give a new dimension to the rural development and digital empowerment movement in the country. It will also help FPOs deliver various services, including Direct Benefit Transfer, interest subsidy schemes, crop insurance schemes (PMFBY), and fertilizers.
