Up to 50 percent subsidy is being given by the government for cultivating Amla in one hectare. This step is being taken by the government as part of the exercise to increase the income of the farmers. In order to encourage farmers to plant horticulture crops, the Bihar government has announced 50 percent subsidy on Amla cultivation under the Integrated Horticulture Development Mission scheme.
