June 4 - According to the weather department, several states in northern India are reeling under intense heat on June 4. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of severe heat and heatwave conditions persisting in parts of Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Western Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha amidst the electoral atmosphere. Conversely, monsoonal rains are expected to continue in Kerala weather, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and West Bengal.

Changing Weather in Delhi:

According to the Meteorological Department, light rainfall and strong winds are anticipated in the capital city of Delhi on June 4. Currently, Delhi is experiencing scorching heat with temperatures hovering around 44 degrees Celsius during the day. As per IMD, the maximum temperature in Delhi will range between 42 to 44 degrees Celsius this week, with minimum temperatures estimated to be between 29 to 31 degrees Celsius.

Check the Weather Across the Country: During the next 24 hours, it is predicted that Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh may witness an increase in temperature and the continuation of hot winds. 
Additionally, parts of Northeast India, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Sikkim, and Maharashtra may experience light to moderate rainfall, with heavy rainfall expected in some areas. Meanwhile, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, and certain parts of Odisha may experience light showers.
