According to the IMD, Arunachal Pradesh is likely to witness heavy rain and snowfall in several places from April 5th to 7th. Assam and Meghalaya are expected to experience heavy rainfall on April 5th, while light to moderate showers are predicted in parts of West Bengal and Sikkim, including the sub-Himalayan regions, over the next 24 hours.
Chances of Thunderstorms and Light Rain in Bihar and Surrounding States: From April 6th to 9th, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and light to moderate rainfall are likely in West Bengal, Odisha, and Jharkhand, while Bihar may experience similar weather conditions from April 7th to 8th. Eastern India continues to experience rainfall, maintaining stable temperatures in the region.
