New Delhi, February 27, 2024, The national capital braces itself for a change in weather patterns as the possibility of rain looms over Delhi tonight. The drop in temperature observed today is primarily attributed to a trough extending from the Arabian Sea towards northeast India. Delhiites experienced a cool spell with overcast skies throughout the day.
According to meteorological predictions, the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 24 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of approximately 10 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, the Air Quality Index (AQI) for today has been recorded highest in Narela, Delhi, at 226, indicating 'poor' air quality.
Additionally, major cities like Mumbai (148), Kolkata (167), Chennai (78), Hyderabad (98), Bengaluru (79), Jaipur (110), and Ahmedabad (140) have also reported their respective AQI figures.
With the fluctuating weather conditions, residents express concerns regarding the prolonged winter season. Some even speculate that winters seem to be lingering longer than usual. However, with Holi just around the corner, there is hope among the populace that warmer days will soon follow, as per the traditional belief that Holi marks the end of winter.
