Sufficient quantities of fertilizers are available in the district. Prioritizing the convenience of farmers, DAP available with private vendors was distributed under the supervision of Agriculture Department officials on November 23. Similarly, DAP available with private vendors was also distributed on November 24.
Dr. S.K. Nigam, Deputy Director of Agriculture and Rural Development, informed that on Saturday, November 23, a total of 11,661 metric tons of urea, 5,080 metric tons of DAP, and 1,809 metric tons of NPK were available with cooperative societies and private vendors in the district. He also reported that on Friday, November 22, 1,040 farmers received 368 metric tons of urea, 248 metric tons of DAP, 59 metric tons of NPK, and 10 metric tons of other fertilizers through double-lock centers, marketing committees, and MP Agro centers.
Fertilizer Distribution Today: Dr. Nigam further informed that on Monday, November 25, a total of 2,383 metric tons of urea, 1,387 metric tons of DAP, and 1,165 metric tons of NPK will be distributed at various double-lock centers in the district.

Dr. Nigam explained that during the current rabi season (from October 1 to November 22), 16,647 metric tons of urea, 8,101 metric tons of DAP, and 4,985 metric tons of NPK have been distributed so far. In comparison, during the same period in 2023, 18,799 metric tons of urea, 8,899 metric tons of DAP, and 2,014 metric tons of NPK were distributed. This year, the distribution of NPK has seen a remarkable 247% increase.
Increased Availability in the Coming Period: Dr. Nigam also mentioned that DAP racks from PPL and Hindalco companies will soon arrive in the district. Additionally, fertilizers are being continuously supplied through various companies' racks.
