The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) reported on Sunday that a slight relief from the scorching heat is expected over the next three to four days. However, the intense heatwave continues to affect the northwestern, central, and eastern regions of India. Residents in these areas are still grappling with high temperatures and heatwaves. Despite this, there has been a slight dip in temperatures over the past few days. Meanwhile, the monsoon has established its presence in southern India and the northeastern states, providing much-needed relief from the heat in those regions.

Delhi Weather Update Today:

On Monday, June 3rd, Delhi's weather is expected to take a turn. There is a forecast for light rain accompanied by thunderstorms, which could bring some relief from the heat. Over the past two days, temperatures have fallen, with Sunday recording a high of 42.8 degrees Celsius. Today's forecast predicts a maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 30 degrees Celsius. Residents of Delhi are beginning to experience some respite from the relentless heat.

Hottest Cities in India Yesterday: On Sunday, IMD recorded the highest temperatures in several parts of the country. Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh weather was the hottest, with temperatures soaring to around 46.2 degrees Celsius. In recent days, the highest temperatures in the country had exceeded 52 degrees Celsius, but have now fallen to 46.2 degrees. Other hot spots included Jhansi and Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh at 45.2 degrees Celsius, Sirsa and Bhiwani in Haryana, and Ganganagar in Rajasthan at 45.5 degrees Celsius. In Madhya Pradesh, Prithvipur recorded a temperature of 45.1 degrees Celsius.
