Farmer ID for farmers will be like Aadhar Card, know what are the benefits

Starting from December, farmers will be able to avail benefits of government schemes through this card. The process of creating Farmer Registry ID cards is progressing rapidly under the Revenue Maha Abhiyan in Indore district. This card will be mandatory for farmers to access government schemes. It will ensure that farmers receive the benefits in a transparent and accessible manner. Collector Mr. Ashish Singh has urged all farmers to get their Farmer Registry Card by December 15 through the portal mpfr.agristack.gov.in.

Farmer Registry Mandatory by December 15:

In a special meeting with revenue officials, Collector Mr. Ashish Singh reviewed the progress of the Revenue Maha Abhiyan and directed that the Farmer Registry process be completed for all farmers by December 15. Camps will be organized in every village to facilitate this process. Additionally, farmers will be made aware of the benefits of the Farmer Registry.

Farmer ID to be Created Free of Cost:

Farmers can create their Farmer ID through the portal themselves. In addition, camps will be set up in every village where Patwaris and youth farmers will help register farmers for free. Farmers who have not yet registered can attend these camps to complete their registration at no cost. This service is also available at Common Service Centers (CSCs).

Benefits of Farmer Registry for Farmers:

The Farmer Registry will offer several benefits to farmers, such as:

1. Timely disbursement of PM Kisan Scheme installments.
2. Access to benefits of schemes like Kisan Credit Card, Agricultural Infrastructure Fund, agricultural loans, and crop insurance.
3. Simplified process for providing relief funds in case of disasters.
4. Easier online registration process for purchasing at Minimum Support Price (MSP).

One Card for All Schemes' Benefits: Through the Farmer Registry, farmers will have all the necessary documents for each scheme in one card. This will eliminate the need to submit documents repeatedly. This process will ensure transparency in the implementation of schemes and directly deliver government benefits to farmers.

Digital Records and Verification: Under the Farmer Registry, farmers will be given a unique ID that will include digital records of their farms. From December, benefits of schemes like PM Kisan will be available exclusively through the Farmer ID. Land records will also be made available online, simplifying and speeding up the verification process.
