The monsoon in Bihar has unleashed nature's fury, causing rivers and streams to overflow and raising the threat of floods. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for Bihar weather, predicting heavy rainfall. On July 11, there is a high likelihood of heavy to very heavy rain in various locations across the state. Furthermore, on July 12, several places in Bihar are expected to experience very heavy rainfall. Meanwhile, northeastern parts of Jharkhand are also predicted to receive heavy rain on July 12.
Rain is expected in several areas of Jharkhand, including Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara, Pakur, and Sahibganj. The full impact of the monsoon has yet to be seen, causing concern among the residents.
Bihar, rain is likely in most areas, including West Champaran, Siwan, Saran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Vaishali, Sheohar, Samastipur, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Madhepura, Saharsa, Purnia, Katihar, Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Kaimur, Aurangabad, Arwal, Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Nawada, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Jehanabad, Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Munger, and Khagaria. A red alert has been issued for West Champaran, Gopalganj, Kishanganj, Siwan, East Champaran, and Sheohar.
