Currently, farmers are engaged in the cultivation of summer moong and urad crops. By taking certain measures, farmers can increase their production. This includes timely control of pests and diseases, along with the use of nano DAP spray. Farmers are increasingly using nano urea and nano DAP fertilizers. These fertilizers contain nitrogen and phosphorus in the form of small particles. When sprayed on crops, they penetrate the stomata present on the leaves and remain inside the plant for 20 to 25 days.
The use of nano urea and nano DAP fertilizers enables blister-free rice cultivation. Additionally, these fertilizers enhance the size, weight, shine, and quality of grains. Treating seeds with these fertilizers can fulfill about 25-30% of the phosphorus requirement. Even in rainfed crops, farmers can save approximately 45% of the quantity of fertilizers.
Benefits of Nano DAP and Nano Urea: According to information from the Department of Agriculture, Jabalpur, Deputy Director Amravanshi explained that nano urea and nano DAP are used through spraying in crops. Nano DAP is also used for seed treatment. Therefore, the maximum utilization capacity of nano urea and nano DAP reaches 80-90%. This fertilizer is absorbed by the crops through the roots and is then delivered to the plants.
Reduced Cost of Cultivation: As per information received from the Agriculture Department, a bottle of nano urea, with a quantity of approximately 500 milliliters, costs around 225 rupees. It contains 25% nitrogen. A bottle of nano DAP, with a quantity of 500 milliliters, contains 8% nitrogen and 16% phosphorus, costing up to 600 rupees. These fertilizers, nano urea, and nano DAP, are quite beneficial for crops. Spraying nano urea and nano DAP can save farmers approximately 41 rupees in urea and 750 rupees per bore in DAP.
