A review meeting of the Women and Child Development Department's schemes and activities was chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. During the session, the Chief Minister directed that skilled women under the Ladli Behna Yojana should be connected with small industries and business ventures. By identifying and linking these skilled women to small industries, new avenues for their economic empowerment will be created.

81 Lakh Women and Children Benefiting from Anganwadi Centers:

The Chief Minister also highlighted the importance of using CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) funds for constructing Anganwadi centers across the state. He praised the public's support in making these centers more organized and functional. Currently, 97,339 Anganwadi centers are operational, benefitting over 81 lakh women and children.

Comprehensive Review of Initiatives from Mission Shakti to Beti Bachao:

Dr. Yadav reviewed various critical initiatives, including Mission Shakti, Mission Vatsalya, Saksham Anganwadi and Nutrition, the Supplementary Nutrition Program, Poshan Abhiyaan, the PM Tribal Justice Campaign (PM Jan-Man), Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, the One Stop Center, pre-school education activities, the smooth operation of Anganwadi services, and the Shakti Abhinandan campaign.

₹1,191 Crore Disbursed Under PM Matru Vandana Yojana:

Madhya Pradesh has taken the lead nationwide under the Prime Minister's Matru Vandana Yojana. In 2024-25, 2,46,185 beneficiaries have been registered in the state. Since the scheme’s launch, over ₹1,191 crore has been disbursed to beneficiaries. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance as compensation for wage loss to pregnant women and to promote the birth of a girl child during the second delivery. The scheme has been in operation since January 1, 2017, under the provisions of the National Food Security Mission.

Madhya Pradesh's 3 Startups Receive ₹11 Crore Support:

A meeting was held to encourage startups in the state. Currently, there are a total of 2,168 startups operated by women. In Madhya Pradesh, there are over 4,500 startups and 70 incubators established. In the past two years, the number of accredited startups has increased by 150%. The state has secured a position in the leader category of the Government of India’s startup ranking. An agreement has been made with Alternative Investment Funds, through which the state government has invested ₹2.25 crore. This has led to an investment of ₹11 crore for three startups in the state. Additionally, 11 clusters have been approved for development by private developers on government land, and 24 clusters are planned on private land, which will comprise over 2,100 plots.
