Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has expressed his gratitude on behalf of the state's farmers for the timely provision of fertilizers, including urea, DAPS, and NPK, during the Kharif season of 2024, facilitated by the central government.
In a letter addressed to the Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Mr. Jagat Prakash Nadda, CM Dr. Yadav conveyed his thanks.

He mentioned that as per the demand for October 2024, Madhya Pradesh has received allocations of 3.75 lakh metric tons of DAP, 2 lakh metric tons of NPK, and 6 lakh metric tons of urea. He further emphasized that a sufficient quantity of indigenous fertilizers was also included in the allocation. This approval from the central government has provided significant relief to farmers.

The Chief Minister pointed out that due to favorable rains by the end of September in Madhya Pradesh, the wheat cultivation area is expected to increase by approximately 1.5 million hectares, leading to a higher demand for DAP, NPK, and urea fertilizers. He has requested the concerned authorities to ensure the availability of these fertilizers in line with the approval given for October 2024.
