To ensure fair prices for farmers and strengthen their financial stability, the Rajasthan government is launching the procurement process for mustard and chickpeas at the Minimum Support Price (MSP). Under this initiative, registration will begin on April 1, 2025, while the procurement process will start on April 10, 2025.
The state government is continuously working to improve the economic condition of farmers. In this regard, Cooperation Minister Shri Gautam Kumar Dak announced that all necessary arrangements for the procurement of mustard and chickpeas for the Rabi season 2025-26 have been completed. The government is committed to ensuring that farmers receive fair prices for their crops without facing any difficulties in the market.
Farmers in Rajasthan can register for mustard and chickpea procurement starting April 1, 2025. The registration process is simple and can be done online via the designated portal or at nearby cooperative centers. This initiative has been designed to help farmers get profitable prices for their crops on time.
The procurement of mustard and chickpeas will commence on April 10, 2025. The crops will be purchased strictly at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) set by the government. Farmers can sell their produce at their nearest mandi (market) or designated government procurement centers.
Government’s Priority – Farmers’ Prosperity: The government aims to increase farmers’ income and promote financial independence. To ensure a smooth and hassle-free procurement process, all necessary facilities such as weighing machines, tents, seating arrangements, drinking water, fans, and cleaning machines will be provided at the procurement centers.
