Farmers across the country have reason to rejoice! The application deadline for various agricultural machinery, including tractor-operated reaper-cum-binder, automatic reaper-cum-binder, rotavator, winnowing fan, multi-crop thresher, and shredder/mulcher, has been extended to October 2, 2024. Previously, the application process was set to close on September 29, 2024. However, following requests from farmers, the government has decided to extend the deadline, giving farmers more time to submit their applications.

The selection of eligible farmers will be done through a lottery system based on the applications received by October 3, 2024. Under this system, modern agricultural equipment will be provided to the selected farmers. Which Machinery Is Included?

This scheme offers a range of modern agricultural equipment aimed at simplifying various stages of farming. The following machines are available under this program.

1. Tractor-operated reaper-cum-binder
2. Automatic reaper-cum-binder
3. Rotavator
4. Winnowing fan (tractor/motor-operated)
5. Multi-crop thresher (capacity below 4 tons)
6. Axial flow paddy thresher
7. Shredder/mulcher

These machines are equipped with advanced technology designed to make farming tasks easier and more efficient.

Demand Draft (DD) Requirements:

1. Tractor-operated reaper-cum-binder: ₹5,000
2. Automatic reaper-cum-binder: ₹5,000
3. Rotavator: ₹5,000
4. Multi-crop thresher: ₹5,000
5. Winnowing fan (tractor/motor-operated): ₹2,000

Please note, applications submitted without the required DD will not be accepted.

Eligibility Criteria for Farmers:

1. The farmer’s name must be recorded in the land records.
2. The farmer must have a valid bank account and Aadhaar card.
3. The farmer must submit the required deposit amount at the time of application.

Scheme Terms and Conditions:

1. A demand draft (DD) for the deposit amount is mandatory during the application process.
2. The farmer’s eligibility will be verified by the district agriculture officer.
3. Only farmers selected through the lottery system will be eligible to receive the equipment.

Lottery Process, How Will Farmers Be Selected: The allocation of agricultural machinery will be done through a lottery system.
