The Department of Agricultural Engineering, Madhya Pradesh, has invited applications under the E-Krishi Yantra Subsidy Scheme for 8 tractor-operated and power-driven agricultural machines. Under this scheme, farmers will receive a subsidy of up to 50%, making agricultural work easier and more productive.

Which Agricultural Machines Are Covered?

The scheme offers subsidies on the following advanced farming equipment:

1. Backhoe/Backhoe Loader (35 HP tractor-operated)
2. Subsoiler
3. Stone Picker
4. Raised Bed Planter with Inclined Plate Planter & Shaper
5. Power Sprayer / Boom Sprayer
6. Laser Land Leveler
7. Fertilizer Broadcaster
8. Pulverizer (up to 3 HP)

Application Deadline & Lottery Process:

• Application Start Date: February 27, 2025 (Thursday)
• Last Date to Apply: March 11, 2025
• Lottery Process: March 12, 2025, via the online portal

Farmers can apply through the E-Krishi Yantra Subsidy Portal and will be selected through a lottery system to avail of the subsidy.

Who Is Eligible?

For Power-Driven/Self-Propelled Machines:

• All farmers can apply.
• Farmers who have not received a subsidy for similar machines under any government scheme in the last five years.

For Tractor-Operated Machines:

• Farmers must have a registered tractor under their name.
• Must not have availed of subsidies for similar machines in the last five years.

Subsidy Details:

• SC/ST and Small & Marginal Farmers: Up to 50% subsidy on machine cost.
• Other Farmers: 40%–50% subsidy based on the machine type.
• Farmers can use the subsidy calculator on the portal to check their eligibility.

Demand Draft (DD) Amount Required for Application:

Applicants need to submit a Demand Draft (DD) along with their application. Here are the required amounts for each machine:
