Government is running a Campaign to Join PM Kisan Scheme, Know when will the registration take Place

Through this campaign, registrations will be conducted for those who missed the opportunity to avail the scheme's benefits. The campaign will run from June 5th to June 20th, 2024, aiming to extend the financial assistance of this central scheme to farmers at the grassroots level.

This scheme, the government is providing ₹6,000 annually:

The PM-KISAN scheme, initiated by the Government of India in 2019, aims primarily to provide financial assistance to farmers nationwide. This scheme extends its benefits to all landowning farmers, including small and marginal ones. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, farmers receive financial aid through the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The PM-KISAN scheme has emerged as a crucial support system for millions of farmers across the country, with each eagerly anticipating the installment payments. Eligible beneficiaries under PM-KISAN receive direct income support amounting to ₹6,000 annually, distributed in three installments of ₹2,000 each. Campaign for Farmer Registrations Till June 20th:

The government has initiated an enrollment campaign under the PM-KISAN scheme through its official website to provide the benefits of this scheme. This grassroots-level campaign will continue until June 20th, 2024. Efforts are being made to connect every eligible farmer in the country with the benefits of the PM-KISAN scheme.

Other Essential Tasks for Farmers: Addition to this, farmers can also fulfill other essential tasks through the PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi Yojana. These include purchasing fertilizers and seeds, crop insurance, and purchasing agricultural equipment through the e-KYC, among others.

Possibility of the 17th Installment of PM-KISAN: On February 28, 2024, the central government released the 16th installment, providing eligible farmers with a ₹2,000 installment. These funds were directly transferred to the beneficiaries' bank accounts via debit. Official information regarding the release of the installment is yet to be announced. After the Lok Sabha elections, the formation of a new government is imminent. According to media reports, there is a possibility of the 17th installment being released by the end of June or the first week of July.
