Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has made a significant announcement aimed at promoting rural development and fostering peace and harmony in village communities. He declared that villages maintaining a dispute-free and harmonious environment will receive an incentive of ₹5 lakh each. Additionally, these selected villages will also benefit from the Vrindavan Gram Yojana.

Extending Government Schemes to Every Village:

Dr. Yadav stated that the Chief Minister's Public Welfare Campaign will continue until January 26, 2025. The campaign's main goal is to inform rural citizens about various government schemes and ensure eligible beneficiaries reap the benefits. The Chief Minister emphasized the need for active and responsible village councils to guarantee that government programs reach every resident.

Focus on Comprehensive Village Development:

Ujjain Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh reported that continuous camps are being held across 589 gram panchayats in the district, with video conferencing facilities available in all village councils in the southern constituency. Dr. Yadav stressed the importance of improving employment opportunities, education, and basic infrastructure in these villages. He directed the preparation of a detailed list of unemployed youth and women in every gram panchayat. Furthermore, he instructed officials to update records of government land to identify potential development projects.

Introduction of Innovations and Infrastructure:

The Chief Minister acknowledged the completion of road construction in Talod Gram Panchayat and urged local leaders to regularly visit their villages, address grievances, and resolve issues promptly. Plans to install CCTV cameras and construct guesthouses in gram panchayats were also highlighted during the discussion.

Promoting Community Welfare: Dr. Yadav advocated for organizing mass marriage ceremonies, particularly during Vasant Panchami, to reduce unnecessary expenses on weddings and funeral feasts. He encouraged villagers to redirect such expenditures towards children's education and development.

Addressing Local Challenges: During the session, a complaint about broken power lines in Aslana Panchayat was raised. The Chief Minister promptly issued directives to repair them, showcasing the government’s proactive approach to resolving local issues.

Empowering Villages and Communities: The Chief Minister reviewed a government exhibition showcasing the achievements of the past year. He reiterated the importance of collective efforts to make gram panchayats self-reliant and prosperous. He urged local leaders and administrators to focus on critical issues such as employment, education, agriculture, and healthcare.

Dr. Yadav's initiatives aim to promote peace, improve livelihoods, and enhance the quality of life in rural areas. These efforts reflect a commitment to holistic village development, underlining the belief that the progress of rural communities is integral to the state's growth.
