Meanwhile, light rain is likely in Meerut, Bijnor, Gorakhpur, Moradabad, Noida, and Ghaziabad. According to the IMD, the monsoon is progressing at its usual pace.

- Lucknow: The capital city of Lucknow is expected to have clear skies with strong surface winds. The IMD predicts a maximum temperature of over 42°C and a minimum temperature of around 30°C.
- Kanpur: The IMD has issued a heatwave alert for Kanpur. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 45°C, while the minimum temperature could be around 31°C.
- Varanasi: In Varanasi, the maximum temperature is expected to be 45°C and the minimum temperature around 30°C. The IMD warns of possible heatwave conditions.
- Ayodhya: Ayodhya is likely to experience heatwave conditions as well, with a maximum temperature of 42°C and a minimum temperature of 28°C.
- Meerut: Light rain showers are expected in Meerut, which could lead to a slight drop in temperatures. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 40°C and the minimum temperature about 28°C.
