Weather Today: Rain continues in UP before Sawan, heavy rain expected in these districts in the next 24 hours

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that the previously weakened monsoon will soon become active again. Over the next 24 hours, heavy rainfall is expected to drench 38 districts across the state. This much-needed rain is likely to provide relief from the intense heat and humidity that has gripped the region. Moreover, there is a potential for thunderstorms to accompany this weather change. In light of this, the IMD has issued an alert to inform and prepare the residents for the upcoming weather conditions.

Rain Expected in Lucknow:

The weather department has predicted rain in the capital city of Lucknow within the next 24 hours. During this period, the minimum temperature is expected to be 29 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature is expected to reach 36 degrees Celsius. This rainfall could prove crucial in providing relief from the oppressive heat and humidity.

Rainfall in 38 Districts Before Sawan:

According to the IMD, heavy rainfall is expected in the following districts: Gorakhpur, Shravasti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Gonda, Bahraich, Basti, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Bulandshahr, Barabanki, Amethi, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Bijnor, Moradabad, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Agra, Firozabad, and surrounding areas.

Thunderstorm Warning: The IMD has issued an alert for the possibility of thunderstorms in several districts. People are advised to stay indoors and minimize the use of electrical appliances. Farmers working in the fields are also advised to be cautious.

Good News for Farmers: This rainfall will help replenish water levels in the fields, which will greatly benefit the crops. It is especially favorable for paddy cultivation.
