The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for monsoon activity in some major states on July 12. Heavy rainfall is expected in certain regions of Madhya Pradesh, and a red alert for heavy rainfall has been issued in Uttarakhand since July 11. Similarly, there is a forecast of heavy rainfall in Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Assam, the entire Himalayan region, and West Bengal, Sikkim on July 11 and 12.
A warning for heavy and normal rainfall has been issued for certain regions of Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand for the next five days. Additionally, the coastal areas of Konkan and Goa are expected to receive normal rainfall in the next five days.
