The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued forecasts indicating heavy rainfall across several eastern states, including Madhya Pradesh and Odisha, from March 19 to 20. Today, on Tuesday, March 19, Odisha is expected to witness heavy rainfall, with predictions suggesting that the deluge will continue into March 20. Furthermore, there is a likelihood of rainfall in numerous districts of Madhya Pradesh on both March 19 and 20, particularly in cities such as Jabalpur, Shahdol, Mandla, Chhindwara, and Betul. Additionally, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Vidarbha regions are anticipated to experience rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds during these two days.
As winter bids adieu across the country, the onset of hot weather has commenced, signifying the emergence of warmer days and rising temperatures in many states. Several regions have already begun to experience temperatures surpassing 35 degrees Celsius. States such as Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh Weather Today, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan are among those witnessing the early effects of the hot weather.
Conversely, Southern India is currently experiencing clear weather. Coastal states are observing increased humidity and warmer temperatures due to their proximity to the sea.
