ICFA Organizes First UP State Agriculture Summit in Lucknow

The Indian Chamber of Food and Agriculture (ICFA) organized the first-ever UP State Agriculture Summit in Lucknow on August 30-31, with the participation of over 125 business leaders, startups, and officials. The summit was inaugurated by the Minister of Horticulture and Agro Exports, Mr. Dinesh Pratap Singh. During the concluding session, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Brajesh Pathak presented state agriculture awards to 21 individuals and organizations, including NBRI for research, CSA Kanpur for academics, IIT Ropar for technology, AVPL for digital agriculture, Gramik for startups, Nuziveedu for corporate contributions, and DCM Shriram for CSR initiatives.

A day before the summit, a meeting of over 40 CEOs was held, chaired by Mr. Awanish Awasthi, Advisor to the Chief Minister.

New Beginnings at Karnataka Agriculture Summit in Bengaluru:

ICFA will be hosting the Karnataka State Agriculture Summit in Bengaluru on September 24-25. During this occasion, ICFA unveiled the curtain raiser for its flagship event, AgroWorld, scheduled to be held in Lucknow from February 19-21, 2025. Additionally, ICFA announced GrainsWorld, which will be organized in Dubai from November 25-27, 2024, in collaboration with the International Grains Council, Global Grains and Pulses Council, and supported by the Ministry of Commerce.
