The responsibility of establishing four upcoming agricultural business incubators in the entire state of Uttar Pradesh has been assigned to the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur). The collaboration between IIT Kanpur and the state government exemplifies a cooperative effort to bring about positive changes and lead Uttar Pradesh towards a sustainable and prosperous future in agriculture.

The key figures present at this event included Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Devesh Chaturvedi, Secretary (Agriculture) Raj Shekhar, and Special Secretary (Agriculture Research and Education) Ajay Kumar Dwivedi. ACS Devesh Chaturvedi stated, "Agriculture will play a pivotal role in achieving the goal of building a one trillion-dollar economy and transforming India into a developed nation by 2047."

He further emphasized, "In this sector, the emergence of startups is crucial as 65% of the workforce is still dependent on agriculture. In this endeavor, there is no better guide than IIT Kanpur to establish agricultural business incubators throughout the state."Officials stated that IIT Kanpur's contribution through the startup incubators has the potential to enhance the livelihoods of farmers, increase production, and uplift the overall economy of the state.
