Chief Minister Yadav has highlighted the immense potential for industrial growth in the Vindhya region. A Regional Industry Conclave is set to take place in Rewa on October 23, with the goal of addressing the various challenges facing local industries. The Chief Minister urged industrialists to present their concerns to the Industry Department, ensuring that effective solutions can be put in place. To facilitate better communication between businesses and the government, investment promotion centers have been established in every district.
The Chief Minister announced that Vindhya industrialists will soon have access to container facilities for exporting their products. He underscored the crucial role that industries play not only in the growth of individual businesses but also in the broader development of the state and nation. These remarks were made during a dialogue with local industrialists in Rewa, in anticipation of the upcoming Regional Industry Conclave.
In an effort to accelerate industrial development across the state, Regional Industry Conclaves are being held monthly at divisional headquarters. The Chief Minister assured the industrial community that issues related to rice milling will be swiftly addressed. He confirmed that the subsidy funds allocated for industries for the fiscal year 2022-23 have been released and will be directly deposited into the accounts of the industrialists. Furthermore, he committed to eliminating any obstacles that hinder the growth of the Vindhya region.
The Chief Minister announced that double taxation will no longer be imposed on industrial zones. The Regional Industry Conclave on October 23 in Rewa will specifically focus on fostering industrial development throughout the Vindhya region. More than 50 prominent industrialists and over 3,000 additional business leaders are expected to attend. On the same day, the foundation stones will be laid for a power substation at the Chorhata industrial hub and an IT park in Rewa.
During the meeting, industrialists provided valuable suggestions regarding the classification of districts for industrial development, the proposal to designate Rewa as a special industrial zone, and the resolution of payment issues related to rice milling and jute sacks. They emphasized the importance of prioritizing the industrialization of smaller towns and ensuring a reliable water supply for industries in Singrauli. Other significant concerns raised included power supply, aluminum production, and cement plant operations.
