Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has emphasized the necessity of skill development to provide self-employment and job opportunities for the youth of the state according to their qualifications. He has directed the creation of an Integrated Employment State Portal to consolidate information on essential skill development, government schemes, and training into a single platform for industrial job demand in the state. During a review of self-employment and job creation efforts across 11 departments, a detailed discussion took place on the initiatives taken over the past 10 months.
The Chief Minister stated that the Integrated Employment State Portal will display various employment-related information, including job availability, application processes, scheme details, qualifications, training opportunities, and industry logins. This will enable youths to access all the necessary information regarding employment and self-employment in one place. The portal will also be linked to a comprehensive portal. Instructions were given to form a joint committee from various departments to oversee the portal's development.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav mentioned that several companies have expressed their commitment to establish new units, sign MOUs, and invest during interactive sessions held in various states and regional industry conclaves at the divisional level within the state. Departments are instructed to provide all necessary approvals in a timely manner to support these initiatives. Each department should conduct self-assessments to set goals and achieve them within the stipulated time.
Dr. Yadav urged all departments to share their skill development, startup policies, investment strategies, and opportunities with one another. Collaborative efforts are essential for generating job opportunities and providing real benefits to the community. Special emphasis should be placed on the development of startups and their support systems. A review of the progress of self-employment and job creation initiatives will be conducted every three months across all departments.
