Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s priorities prominently include youth empowerment, welfare of the poor, women empowerment, and farmer welfare. In line with these priorities, a brainstorming session was organized on Thursday at Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The primary aim of the session was to emphasize the government’s commitment to providing employment to every underprivileged individual and improving their living standards through focused attention on health, education, and nutrition. Tailored employment-centric activities will be promoted in urban and rural areas based on local conditions.
The focus will be on establishing industries that generate substantial employment, such as readymade garments. Skill development and training programs aligned with industrial needs will be implemented for youth. In rural areas, initiatives like the cultivation of medicinal plants and livestock rearing will not only enhance household incomes but also ensure the availability of nutritional resources.
Government and private sector collaboration will be encouraged to enhance health and education services. The government aims to ensure access to quality education and healthcare for every individual, thereby improving overall well-being.
The first session of the camp, discussions centered around the Swami Vivekananda Youth Power Mission. This mission aims to enhance the income and education levels of rural and urban youth aged 15 to 29, including women, differently-abled individuals, farmers, and marginalized sections. The mission will operate under the guiding principles of dialogue, capability, and prosperity.
Empowered Women: Empowered State: Under the vision of “Empowered Women: Empowered State,” the focus will be on women-centric development. The mission aims to provide education, healthcare, nutrition, economic empowerment, and safety to women and girls. Awareness campaigns promoting gender sensitivity among men will also be launched to foster a positive attitude towards women in society.
Integration of New Schemes: The camp also deliberated on the outcomes of the 4th National Chief Secretary Conference. Topics included renewable energy, green economy, the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, employment generation, and economic development in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. Discussions also focused on the expansion of MSMEs, development of non-agricultural activities in rural areas, and economic reforms to attract investments. The brainstorming session aimed to ensure the effective implementation of holistic plans that focus on improving employment, health, education, nutrition, and living standards in the state.
