Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajesh Rajora stated that Madhya Pradesh is fully committed to contributing to India's goal of becoming a $5 trillion economy. The state's strategic geographical location, abundant natural resources, and progressive administration enable it to play a key role in this national vision. He further mentioned that the "Ease of Doing Business" policy has enhanced investor confidence, reflecting their investment potential in the state's policies and infrastructure. Madhya Pradesh is also a leader in green energy, with world-class solar power projects, and is excelling in sectors like IT, textiles, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, agritech, food processing, and mining.
Additional Chief Secretary of Information & Technology, Mr. Sanjay Dubey, highlighted significant progress in digital and technological innovations across India. The country processes 550 million digital transactions daily. Madhya Pradesh contributes significantly to this progress, with approximately 150,000 technology professionals from the state strengthening India's technological development. Mr. Dubey emphasized that the state is rapidly advancing in the IT sector and emerging as a major AI hub in India. Tier-2 cities like Bhopal and Indore are becoming key IT centers. State policies like IT, ITES, ESDM, and Start-up Policies are driving this growth. The state is also implementing the AVGC policy and preparing for the GCC policy, offering attractive financial and non-financial incentives to investors.

Principal Secretary of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Mr. Raghvendra Singh, shared that Madhya Pradesh is rich in natural resources and is making continuous progress in infrastructure. The state is India's largest exporter of wheat and a leading producer of diamonds, copper, and manganese. In FY 2023-24, Madhya Pradesh exported $162 million worth of goods to Germany, with contributions from sectors like textiles, agriculture, automobiles, organics, chemicals, and plastics. The state has over 300 large and MSME industrial zones, employing 43% of its workforce. Currently, more than 1,700 German companies operate in India, and over 200 Indian companies are active in Germany. Trade between India and Germany amounts to $26.06 billion, reflecting the strong economic and trade relations between the two nations.
Rapid Growth in MSMEs and Start-up Ecosystem: Madhya Pradesh's MSME and start-up ecosystem is growing rapidly. The state is home to 1.4 million MSMEs, providing employment to approximately 7.3 million people. Over 2,200 women lead start-ups in the state, and more than 300 pharmaceutical companies export medicines to over 160 countries.
