A cabinet meeting chaired by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav approved administrative sanction for the Chitrangi Pressure Micro-Irrigation Project in Singrauli district, with an allocation of ₹1,320.14 crore. This project will irrigate 32,125 hectares of land, benefiting 132 villages in Chitrangi Tehsil (28,192 hectares) and 10 villages in Deosar Tehsil (3,933 hectares).
The cabinet also approved the allocation of sufficient staff for the Cyber Tehsil Project. To expand this initiative across the state, 10 posts of Tehsildars from the 619 approved positions, 15 posts of Naib Tehsildars from the 55 reserved positions, and 3 Assistant Grade-3 positions will be transferred to the Principal Revenue Commissioner's office for Cyber Tehsil operations. Additionally, approval was granted for the outsourcing of 2 peon positions.
The Cabinet has approved the continuation of Mission Shakti program in all the districts till 2025-26 under the period of 15th Finance Commission. This initiative aims to create an environment that empowers women to realize and utilize their full potential. Each district hub under Mission Shakti will have one Coordinator, one Financial Literacy Expert, two Gender Specialists, one IT Assistant, one Accounts Assistant, and one MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff), with a total of 364 positions approved across the state.
The cabinet, on the recommendation of the Finance Department, approved an increase in the maximum limit of Index-1 for administrative/work order approvals under the Mukhyamantri Gram Sadak & Avsaranchna scheme from 3 to 4.30. This will facilitate infrastructure and construction projects worth over ₹2,135 crore in rural areas.
