Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav communicated with industrialists from Shahdol division via video conferencing from Rewa Airport. During this interaction, he discussed the upcoming Regional Investors Meet to be held in Shahdol on January 16. The Chief Minister informed that proposals worth over ₹3.75 lakh crore have been received for industrial development in the state, with the potential to generate approximately 84,000 job opportunities.
Dr. Yadav mentioned that Shahdol division alone has received investment proposals worth ₹20,000 crore. He also emphasized that whether the investment proposal is ₹10 crore or ₹1 crore, both hold equal importance. The Chief Minister instructed the district collectors to prepare new entrepreneurs for start-ups within the next two days. This year has been declared as the 'Industry and Employment Year' in the state, and the Investors Meet will play a key role in achieving this goal.
Global Investors Meet to be Held
The Chief Minister also mentioned that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Global Investors Meet in Bhopal on February 24. This event is a matter of pride for the state and its people, as it will contribute to the development of Madhya Pradesh.
Initiatives for Women Empowerment and Water Conservation
On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav spoke about celebrating Women Empowerment Day across the state and extended his wishes to everyone. He also provided information about the launch of major water conservation projects under the Jal Shakti Yojana in Ujjain. The Chief Minister highlighted that water conservation is the most pressing need of the time and emphasized that providing water facilities to every village and field will lead to the overall prosperity of the state.
