Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s governance policies and efforts toward an equitable society are steering the nation on the path of progress. Under the Prime Minister’s leadership, the Madhya Pradesh government is actively working to deliver benefits of 63 welfare schemes, such as Ayushman Cards and food grain distribution for families below the poverty line, to every household. A resurvey is also being conducted to provide permanent housing in rural areas.
The state government is ensuring that every underprivileged family has access to basic amenities, including permanent houses, LPG connections, free monthly rations until 2029, and free textbooks for children. To boost dairy production, subsidies are being provided to farmers who rear more than 10 cows. The Chief Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to the welfare of the poor, farmers, youth, and women.
Dr. Yadav highlighted that the state is operating in mission mode to promote social harmony, create employment opportunities for youth, and empower women.
The state government aims to provide employment to every individual and irrigation facilities to every farm. The Chief Minister stated that Madhya Pradesh is implementing the world’s first river-linking project to achieve this goal. Prime Minister Modi has allocated ₹1 lakh crore to improve irrigation facilities in the Bundelkhand region. Additionally, measures are being taken to conserve forests and prevent migration.
Industrial Development with Japan's Advanced Technology: The Chief Minister announced that Japanese industrial groups are keen to collaborate with Madhya Pradesh, bringing advanced technology to the state. Thanks to its intellectual resources, talented youth, and industry-friendly environment, the state has already attracted investment proposals worth ₹4 lakh crore, creating over 3 lakh employment opportunities.
Global Investors’ Summit: A Bright Future for Madhya Pradesh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Global Investors’ Summit in Bhopal on February 24–25, 2025. This landmark event is expected to propel industrial growth and accelerate the state’s progress. The Chief Minister urged the people of Madhya Pradesh to contribute to the state’s development with dedication.
