Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced the state government's commitment to increasing employment opportunities and advancing development across all sectors. He emphasized the government’s vision to transform Madhya Pradesh into a prosperous and economically developed state. Dr. Yadav also shared that the Pratibha Swaraj Unit in Ujjain, constructed at a cost of ₹350 crore, has been inaugurated, which will provide employment to over 5,000 people. Additionally, Ujjain's leading enterprises and Pratibha units are expected to generate about 10,000 jobs, with further industrial ventures set to create direct employment for over 50,000 unemployed individuals.
Dr. Yadav highlighted that through the Singhast Festival, India will emerge as a global leader. He explained that every 12 years, Vaishnav and Shaivite saints of Sanatan Dharma gather at Singhast to define the future directions and practices of the religion. The Singhast Fair will also be organized here. The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s commitment, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to making Madhya Pradesh the top state in India in terms of development.
Dr. Yadav further announced efforts to attract investors, including a scheduled visit to Hyderabad on October 16 to invite potential investors to the state. As part of the Regional Industry Conclave series, which began in the Ujjain division, the next conclave will be held in Rewa on October 23. He also emphasized that, by 2028, Ujjain will become a significant hub for religious tourism globally, thanks to the Singhast Festival. The Chief Minister has sanctioned over ₹658 crore for Ujjain, which is expected to play a crucial role in the city's development.
Public Works Minister Mr. Rakesh Singh remarked that, Dr. Yadav's guidance, the Public Works Department is making significant strides in accelerating the state's development. He noted that revolutionary changes are evident in both the development and public welfare sectors. He added that Ujjain, in addition to being a religious city, will soon be recognized as an international tourism destination.
