The Indian Meteorological Department IMD has issued a comprehensive weather warning for various regions across the country over the next five days, highlighting a mix of rainfall, snowfall, thunderstorms, and hot, humid conditions. Starting with the northern region, the IMD predicts isolated to scattered rainfall and snowfall over Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand on March 4th. This is due to the influence of a Western Disturbance with its axis along Long. 72°E and Lat. 32°E. Furthermore, a fresh Western Disturbance is expected to affect the Western Himalayan Region from the night of March 5th. This disturbance is likely to bring isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall from March 5th to 7th in the Western Himalayan Region.

Madhya Pradesh Weather Update Today Thunderstorms and Lightning Predicted:

Moving towards the eastern parts of the country, a trough extending from southwest Madhya Pradesh to North Interior Karnataka is anticipated to cause isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds over Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Sikkim on March 4th. the northeastern region, a trough in the westerlies along Long. 92°E to the north of Lat. 25°N will lead to isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall and snowfall over Arunachal Pradesh for the next five days. Additionally, isolated heavy rainfall/snowfall is likely over Arunachal Pradesh on March 4th. Meanwhile, Assam, Meghalaya, and Nagaland can expect isolated light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning on March 4th and 5th. the southern region, hot and humid weather conditions are expected to prevail over Rayalaseema and Kerala for the next 2-3 days.

The IMD advises residents and authorities in these regions to stay updated with the latest weather forecasts and take necessary precautions to mitigate any adverse impacts of the predicted weather conditions.
